My old aunt is having trouble with her telephony device(s).

She had Optus and is now transitioning to Telstra.
She has a new plastic box affixed to her outside wall.

She doesn't know what she has.
She doesn't know what she wants.
She doesn't know the sites history.

Where, O where can I find a list of consultants to travel to her place
and fix things. Do these people exist?

Almost certainly an NBN service.

Likely a phone service that works.

Yep, but this is a stupid place to ask about it.

My mum has the NBN interface box, Telstra modem, and DECT phone, so it
is a rat's nest of cables in the corner of dining room. But she is too
old to cope with mobile phone.
I can understand her getting off Optus. Mine gives me the shits. After
power failure, the landline phone isn't registered. You have to switch
off the Optus modem and on again. Restarting it through the http
interface doesn't seem to be the same as cold boot.
