We are trying to determine whether adverse possession of land in
tasmania is still possible, and if so, how long should the land be in
use by the applicant for it to be successful?
We are not interested in acquiring any land by adverse possession
ourselves. To cut a long story short, we do have an application in to
buy land between our block and our neightbours, which is a reserved
road and is crown land. We are anticipating that our neighbour could
attempt to acquire the reserved road between our property by adverse
possession, as he has been using it for 10 to 12 years. Thankyou for
