I don't know if you guys have seen this huge poster, but I've seen it a few
times around in Melbourne. The Seven Network news presenter - Jennifer
Kyte - is sitting there in the news room behind the desk, and there was
this slogon next to it: The Best News Melbourne Ever had for 150 years.
(Or something like that) And the FIRST time I saw that poster I couldn't
help myself asking the friend beside me: 'I didn't know she is dead?'

There used to be one with "Nobody Knows Melbourne like Seven" to go with
the horrible jingle. Certain rumours circulated about Jennifer Keyte,
Johnny Diesel and a champagne bottle. On one of these that I saw, some
bright spark put a grimace on her face and changed the graphic to read

"Nobody Knows Jenny like Johnny."

"how many stiches?" on it, until now I had no idea what it meant

Of course there was the famous series of billboard posters when
Katrina Lee came back to newsreading on channel 10 after her (first?)
baby. They just said:

Katrina's back

to which some wags added

Murdoch's front

(Back in the days when Murdoch owned channel 10, 3 owners ago)

Similarly in Adelaide, refering to Bevan Spencer von Einem, who was convicted
of killing a 14 year old boy, and suspected of several other murders of young
men:

"Nobody knows Adelaide like Bevan"

Maybe if he was really lucky he could find one of her before she had
the plastic surgery - when she was co-reader with that really drippy
bloke!
