I have been looking around to try DVD A but few people seem to have them

or have a catalogue to order.

Is any one using or buying DVD A if so would be very grateful about any
information about where to purchase them.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

Within Australia your best internet purchase is probably from Ezydvd. The
link to the DVD-A page is
http://www.ezydvd.com.au/mech/search.zml/f=category/id=eH4t5:sYxjH?q=DVD%20Audio

You will find about 60 titles (mainly from Warner) available from this
source at under $30. Shipping is quick, cheap and reliable.

From overseas sources I was using sendmemovies.com until recently. They
just can't seem to ship anything without the cases getting crushed. Spare
DVD-A super jewel cases are not cheap and AFAIK not available in Australia.
:( Alternately you could try http://www.dv-depot.com or
http://www.elusivedisc.com who have some DVD-A and an excellent range of
SACD too.

Cheers,
Alan

My local JB-Hifi has a very small selection of about 10-15 titles, mostly
classical stuff.

Fat chance....It is much easy to get SACDs than DVD-A from shops.

JB hi-fi seems to have a few - mainly pop and classical stuff.

Try Rockian for Chesky DVD-A if you are in Melbourne.

I've actually seen 2 at my local Big W, of all places....

EzyDVD stocks them (www.ezydvd.com.au) although they have gone
downhill of late (in terms of price & service).

Atlantic Video (SA) also has a reasonale range, not sure if they are
listed on their web site yet (www.atlanticdvd.com.au).

The US prices were recently cut to the same price as normal CDs, so
expect that to happen here ('expect' as in 'dont tolerate if it
doesnt').
