I am looking at purchasing a DVD player, receiver and speakers? I have
been looking at the Pioneer VSX-D409 and Yamaha RXV-496 receivers and
the Pioneer DV-525 and DVD-S796 DVD players. I am looking at spending
about $1500 for the DVD player and receiver and am leaning toward the
Yamaha combination. I realise the Yamaha can't play CD-R but that
doesn't bother me. I want to use the components for both music and
movies. Any comments or other recommendations would be appreciated?

I'm not sure about speakers. I have been offered Yamaha NS200 (front),
NSC200 (center) nad NSE105 (rear) speakers as part of a Yamaha package
but I can't find any info/reviews on these. Does anyone know anything
about these? What would people recommend for around $1500 (excluding
sub). I have been looking at the Krix (Equinox) range.

Also, can anyone suggest some good retailers in Melbourne who know
their stuff?

Thanks,
Adam
