Hi,

Any opinions on the above will be appreciated.

I have actually already bought them today (Polaris 9009, asking $799 got
them for $350, store was having a closing down sale) but I would like to
hear from other owners. The 1001 model got a pretty good write up in 'Audio
and Video Lifestyle Magazine Australia'

There is a problem with one of the speakers, it seems to cut in and out and
is noticeably quieter than the other one and has an occasional distortion
from the tweeter. They have a 5 year warranty so I should have no problems
getting it fixed, hopefully.

I bought a pair of DB Dynamics from JB bout 10 months ago, one of them has been
in
for repair for 6 of those 10 months. I'm gonna be taking them to the Office of
fair
trading tribunural, thats my opnion.

sorry,
On a better note, the speakers were pretty good I found, but the company that
replairs them is relying on a third party to get replacement parts.

Speakers = good low end speakers
Repair company = about as much fun as sniffing a couple of hundred thousand
magic markers whilst recieving a slow sheet lightning enema.

Hi TY Watson.

re Your DB Speakers,

If you contact. Digital Audio Group in Sydney Phone 02 9486 3999 and speak
with "Joe" He is most helpful and I am sure if he was aware of the situation
you have re your speakers he would be of help.

Regards
