I've just met someone, who, when he buys his expensive silver cable,
pays a cryogenic company to freeze them before he "burns" them in with
music.

Hmmm...that could be a new marketing tool - Cryogenically prepared
cable!!

That's an old one sadly. Still ranks well in the pantheon of ridiculously
exxy mods tho.

Don't mock, these things really work.

In fact I just used one of those expensive power cords for my system. As an
experiment I decided to plug it into my kettle to boil some water to make a
cup of coffee and wow what a difference this makes.

After the water boiling in record time I noticed a that the whistle sounded
very clear indeed. It sounded so good I thought I would let it boil for a
few minutes longer so I could bask in the ambiance.

I then used the water to make my coffee and what a surprise, the best coffee
I have tasted by far!! a beautiful taste that just rolled of my pallet. It
was like an angel crying on my tong.

I fully recommend everyone to buy one of these power cords and experiment. I
am going to use it to fire my PC up next, I heard it makes the CPU run at a
higher clock speed. Keep you posted ;-)

That would be funny except for the fact that half the posters here actually
believe you.

Sorry officer, it will not happen again.

I guess I will loose all privileges to post to the news group for a year.

"You have too much time on your hands mate...." Your far too smart for this
group. Maybe you should try the Mensa Group.

That's an interesting one. I've never been able to hear anything in it
but have often wondered if electrical
(electrostatic?) differences between synthetic and woolen carpet could
influence electon flow to a degree suficient to be heard on ABX tests.
Just imagine all those audiophools rubbing their shoes on the nylon
carpet to charge it up.
