I ordered a Pronto from them last Friday when I saw the price & heard they
only take 4 days to deliver. It's been a week since I ordered & still
nothing.
Has anyone waited for more than a week for their Pronto from
letsautomate.com??

They seem to have great service so it's probably just Australia Post being
lazy....

Mine only took 5 days also. You can track it from memory. Have you done
this?

regards
Jamie

I ordered mine friday night. It shipped later that evening (or morning
their time)

It arrived in brisbane on the tuesday .. got held up in customs which
delayed an extra couple of days by the time customs notified me and i
got out there to pick it up.

Why did you have to pick it up? Didn't you pay for courier door-to-door
delivery? I know if I did, I won't be too impressed with having to drive
out to customs to pick it up.

Yes... I've used the tracking service & according to them the order was in
the country on Monday...
I've called both Customs & my local P.O & neither have it.

Because i put a corporate postal address on they questioned whether or
not it was for commercial use. I get the impression that if it had been
for commercial use, they would have made me pay the government $47.30
(some of this was actually on the money i paid to Royal Mail to deliver
the package! I wouldn't mind paying taxes so much if the govt didn't
piss a significant chunk of it away on themselves )

By the time the note from australia post got to me it was 4pm friday ..
and being a public service they had set all their phone lines to
'engaged' and then at 4:15 pm when the entire public services f*cks-off
home (to avoid serving the public) they switched their phones 'ring out'
.. so i was pretty pissed off.

I figured if i left it up to them to deliver it to me there would have
been a few more days delay, so i though f*ck it, i'll get it myself. If
you wont something done right ...

So it took 4 days, over a weekend, to get from the UK to Australia (i
could even track it via www.royalmail.co.uk) but took a week to get from
brisbane airport to me in the brisbane CBD.

That's my point. I ordered Friday Morning & it was shipped Friday afternoon.
It got to Australia on Monday & now I'm worried as it'll be next Monday or
Tuesday before I reveive it.
Like you said, people who order it on Friday get it Tuesday-ish.
(And I'm in Sydney so I guess it'll get to me faster than to someone in
Brisbane.)
