We have a jacaranda tree in the garden of our Sydney home. It appears
healthy and normally flowers each year. However the leaves have turned
yellow in the last couple of weeks - what does this mean and what can we
do about it ?
Any help appreciated.

Hi Bill,

Jacarandas are semi-deciduous. They always go yellow in Spring.
Enjoy the colour!

Hi Bill,
In our part of the world jacaranda trees always turn a very pretty
yellow in the spring, then lose all their leaves, then flower(about
early November), and finally sprout new leaves. They thus seem to be
spring deciduous. Some other trees that behave similarly are fiddlewood
(Citharexylum fruticosum) and to some extent silky oak (Grevillea
robusta) and avocado.
Don't do anything, just enjoy the show!
