The LB-10X is a lighter and more compact AC/10 and it LOVES hitting the
dreaded LAMs! I rarely use the "cluster" round as this is simply an LRM
attack and the mutiple hits on the holes in the armor (for Internal Structure!)
can be done by SRMs. This is not always true, but I usually prefer standard
rounds.
The dreaded Inferno round for the humble SRM-2 is made less effective due to
the introduction of Double-Strength Heat Sinks or "Freezers". But the increase
of six heat points can ruin most mek's days! The old Phoenix Hawk (3025) is a
real sucker for this, as if it didn't have enough heat problems! We use full
ton allocations as this makes things simple for us! The Inferno round is also
a real Vehicle killer (read the Compedium rules on this!) and is just a real
bad karma device! If you like to "mix" your shots eg 10 shots Infernos, 40
shots normal SRMs, try this "House" rule.
When changing ammo types eg Inferno to SRM or vice-versa, a piloting roll
with movement mods is made, if you fail then the ammo doesn't change over. A
cute rule that we use that discourages those that like to carry something for
every occassion! Those LRM types!
The blessed C-3 network is God's gift to the Inner Sphere! I just love it,
pity that it is near exclusively a Comstar/Combine device. This can make a
slight advantage againist the Clans, but watch for those Guardian ECMs! If I
could justify it every mek I have would have C-3s, I LIKE IT!

I want these rules, they sound good, post or mail me about it. Let's get B'tek
its' own group *smile* :-)

Your mek sounds like a variant of my HUSSAR (see Comstar Recon Meks), where the
C-3 falters is with the use of the dreaded GUARDIAN ECMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This limits you to no closer than 7 hexes, see how well you do then. I love
the use of the C-3, but those Guardians make all those millions of C-bills
spent in buying the C-3 network useless. I set my designs to field max armor
and have Guardians on board to counter Narcs, Atremis and C-3s of course.
See you on the battlefield againist the Clans!
