Anyone want to take a good guess as to who called Chris Tucker on the mobile
while he was acting, as seen in the bloopers.

Also what the fark in an actor doing with a mobile while on set?

I would have thought that the things would be off limits for all sorts of
production and technical reasons...

1) Equipment interference.
2) Security risk, sound bites being sent off to some pirate site.
3) Interuption of production.

Its not dangerous scientific or medical work they are doing there, its a
silly action film. And no self (loving) actor goes anywhere without their
wanka phone.

Maybe email Chris Tucker and ask him?

;o)

I wondered if it was put on just for the bloopers.

In all properly designed equipment (A/V at least), a mobile would not
interfere. In film it's hardly going to effect the picture, and all
the audio would be balanced and properly shielded.

Why would an actor be stupid enough to allow sound bites to get to a
website? It would be much easier to fake them, aside from the good
chance it will end up on the cutting room floor (metaphorically
speaking).

It is correct etiquette to turn them off/silence them, however, to
prevent interruptions, I agree.

Don't they wear hidden radio mics these days? So would not mobiles interfere
with that?

Sorry, I did not mean the actors on the set, I meant say a stage hand that
thought they could get away with pirated sound bites provide any place that
would pay the cash.

So with radio mic interfere and piracy and interruptions would they not ban
them outright?

I would if I was a producer.

They showed that blooper when Chris Rock appeared on the Tonight Show
and he explained that he had been called back to the set for a few final
pickup shots as he was leaving for the night. That was why he had his
mobile turned on and in his pocket.

OK, you have explained that, now can you explain why Chris Rock was on the
set of a movie he wasn't even in? :)
