Another thing... If the "Directors Cut" was any good it would have been shown in
the normal movie....

I don't understand why people selling DVDs second-hand think they are worth
more than they paid for them, especially when they are readily available.
It's not like these titles are out of print.

True but they are not excactly a bargin are they... You can almost get
them for that price from the stores... why would someone buy them from
you ??
Why are they not second hand.. I find it hard to believe that you paid
money for the DVD's only to bring them out here and not watch the movie
only to try and sell them for less than you bought them for.... does
not really make sense does it..

With all the uninformed comments you've made in this thread, I'd say you're
the last person to be handing out advice as to how much someone else should
be selling their DVDs for.

"you people" - So one guy continues an argument and suddenly that encompasses
'you people' ? as in the newsgroup at large ?

Geez Viper....usually your arguments are on the mark. But with statements like these
you may as well get the VHS....or even the VCD.

Not that r1 vs r4 are THAT far apart on quality, but since you feel the movie is 'The
plot is the same ..same actors same out come....' regardless...you may as well save
your bucks.

Actually there is a difference between the R1 and R4. There IS a difference in the
Directors cut for many films. The 'Directors Cut' is more often the little extra's
which the director deems important to tell his story. Often subtleties but take the
Lethal Weapon movies with the inclusion of the sniper / bar room scenes. Quite a
different perspective.

Funny you should mention that. The Directors Cut of LW2 is on tellie this
weekend !!

Actually you can now pre-order the Lethal Weapon Legacy - Director's Cut
boxed set from Amazon, Express, etc, for around $US54. This set includes
the DC of LW1, LW2, LW3.
