Geez Viper....usually your arguments are on the mark. But with statements like these
you may as well get the VHS....or even the VCD.
Not that r1 vs r4 are THAT far apart on quality, but since you feel the movie is 'The
plot is the same ..same actors same out come....' regardless...you may as well save
your bucks.
Actually there is a difference between the R1 and R4. There IS a difference in the
Directors cut for many films. The 'Directors Cut' is more often the little extra's
which the director deems important to tell his story. Often subtleties but take the
Lethal Weapon movies with the inclusion of the sniper / bar room scenes. Quite a
different perspective.

boxed set from Amazon, Express, etc, for around $US54. This set includes
the DC of LW1, LW2, LW3.
