Saw a bit of "Bushwhacked!" on the ABC ts evening, Seems some crowd
are doing some research on Pygmy Crocs, and they've found something
theu think might be evidence that the crocs have learnt how to kill
and eat Cane Toads without any ill effects.
It appears that what they do is catch the toad by the hind legs,
flick their head to kill it, then eat the legs. The torso, with
those venonm glands on the back, is discarded.
Well, that's what they surmise. What they've found is mangled
Cane Taod corpses and a healthy population of Pygmy Crocodiles.
