Halal certification of Salmon is laughable.
Islamic laws state the following:
"Eat any fish that has scales, and do not eat what does not have scales"
(Imam Baqir a.s) [al-Kolayni, al-Kaafi, vol.6 p. 219]

Anchovies, Barramundi, Bass, Carp / bream, Cod / hake, Dory, Flounder,

Sardines, Snapper, Tailor, Trevally, Trout, Tuna, Whitefish, Whiting,
Yellow tail.
So IOW Salmon (for example) are *always* and will *always* be Halal.
No need for certification.

The whole thing is the processing of the salmon. To try and explain a cow is
also HALAL if processed in the correct manner and isn't if not processed in
the correct manner
