Hi,

I have accidentally undeleted an mpeg of my wife and children from a
floppy disk. I am wondering if anybody here knows where I could find a
file-undeleting utility for the Mac -- particularly one that undeletes
files on floppies. It needs to be able to work on PPC w/ Mac OS 8.0.

I know there are shitloads of such utilities for the PC but for some
reason or another this seems to be something that appears to be seriously
lacking on the Mac. You would think it would come stock standard with Mac
OS.

Thanks for your time.

Also try PowerOn Software's Rewind. TechTool Pro also keeps a backup of
all files that are deleted from the Trash.

Try 'Data Rescue'. Grab it off versiontracker.com. Most other utils are
pretty useless as they require you to enable the Filesaver part BEFORE you
delete the file.

Haven't used it in years but Norton Utilities had an "Uneraze" sub app
as part of its program.

Hey, as long as the floppy has not got over-written it can easily be recovered using the automatic data recovery tool. Make sure that the software you choose has powerful scanning algorithm and programming logics. for more details on how to undelete Mac file, you can visit: http://www.undeletemacfile.com
