anyone know anything about GRIC dialer...

just tried to install the GRIC dialer on to an iBook and am getting a
Java error (Java VM needs to be in the same folder as the GRIC
application)

this is from a clean install of GRIC from the web.

went and found java VM and copied it into the gric folder - that did
not do anything, moved the gric folder across to where java vm was,
that didnt do anything....

anyone been through this?

anyone get through this???

Hi there

How much ram have got on your ibook... Don't laugh I did install this
software on one of my customer's powerbook and had the same error... After
spending long hours trying to find out a solution I decided to remove the
ram as we had 256mb installed.. With the original 64mg it worked, we had
128mb and it worked... Anything above 192mb and this error crept in !!

Weird but true.. You might wanna try this and let us know !

i dont think ive ever heard of too much memory being a problem before
(or am i just moving in the wrong circles?)

there is no sys req on the site that says anything like that...

still ill try anything once - he only needs it for about 4 days
