used to be such a busy ng, now full of bitcoin robbers, etc.

Is it basically dead?

Yes, it's basically dead. No traffic in over 3 years. These days, most
(aus) things related to 'comms.mobile' are discussed in aus.computers.

aus.computers can be a bit of a cesspool [1], but nothing a decent
kill-/filter-file can't cure.

[1] Of course you are well aware of aus.computers and contribute your
bit to the cesspool. :-(

For mobile stuff, almost all of us have moved away from newsgroups to
moderated forums like whirlpool.

Looks like Roddles has given up, he is useful until he gets on the abuse
wagon. IMO needs to be told to pull his head in, but others may
disagree.

He hasn't changed since the old FIDO days.
