EA Falcon radio/cass security code

I entered the wrong security code into my 1990 EA Falcon 4 speaker
radio/cassette player, does anyone know how to remove the number and start
again. I have tried removing the fuse and reinstalling but it wont let me
enter another number.

Just a guess but try disconnecting battery, then reconnecting to
reset. Please someone correct me if I am wrong!!!

Have you tried disconnecting the battery? I found that when the 85amp
battery on my Ford Maverick failed and I had to fit a new battery that
this disconnection in the electrical supply 'upset' the memory chip and
I had to re-program the radio/cassette player! Though after saying that
there is a gadget you can get which retains all of the memory details
when changing batteries.

You will have to leave it on untill it clears. It lets you enter it a
couple of times before locking up. More times you enter it wrong the
longer you have to wait. Have heard of of someone who had to leave it on
for over a day.

My friends EF futura needs a code as well. If the code is wrong, it
displays an error message and waits a set time before the code can be
re-entered. If the code is wrong the seccond time it will wait longer, and
longer for the third time. Maybe your EA's like that

Depends which fuse you're removing. Some of them you need to remove the
plug from the back of the radio to disconnect BOTH power sources....wait for
about a minute (so the capacitors inside have discharged) and re-connect the
plug. Generally, the first thing you type in is your number, then you will
find the radio should switch on and away you go (it should look dead up to
that point). Otherwise, contact your nearest dealer who will refer you to a
car stereo repairer that is authorised to do Ford radios. They'll charge
you about $35 and decode it for you in about 10 minutes.
