Can anyone tell me if this (Cobra Trapshooter Pro II) is X & K band or only
X ?.. its an oldie and I have put it in, but unsure of band. Its a remote
mount job (sensor under bonnet). Web search yielded nothing.

you only want K and KA band..... also if it has laser detection then that
will be handy too.....

I thought all radar detectors even those equipped with vg2 where now
detectable by the police.

But how can passive detectors be detected remotely if you don't change
your driving pattern upon warning?

Well the big test on way to work today.. it works.. sorta... the cam (tripod
job) was beamed same direction as my lane and taking I assume rear pics...
and nearly as soon as I was 10 or less ! Meters before it it went off.. and
stayed on consitantly for a few meters down the road, this would be good if
it was beamed at the front and not back... however it went off next to a
servo... next to a cell tower.. etc...tho this is not too bad (it keeps ya
on ya toes) :) well I know there are detector detectors but if the
confiscate it its not such a loss as it was a freebie...(unless they fine me
:| ) I drive to work every day and sometimes exceed the limit by 5-10 k's or
so.. it happens... we all do it.. however if I can avoid propping the states
economy up (this is how we do it in Tas.) I will.

Don't worry. If you don't agree with a law then ignore it, It does not
apply to you.
