Apart from the very high price tags I would be reluctant to buy a
vehicle from any "start up" company with little or no experience
building vehicles.
We all know how the major car makers do things and they still screw up
so the chances of a new company getting it even close to right the first
time is next to nil.
Tesla's quality problems is a prime example.

A quarter million bucks for a ute that makes 330Nm of torque and can
haul 2.5 tonne?

Maybe its an ad for Toyota Hilux or some other Japanese ute:-)
If there ever was a reason not to want something other than a
conventional ute then its either of those 2 above.
