can someone tell me how much it will cost to put a v8 in a 180b, and
what modifications would need to be done. Thanks

The first modification would be the surgical removal of your brain.
Then, install a large flashing light on the roof of the Datto so we all
have time to steer clear of the brainless lunatic with a hideously
overpowered Datsun.

I don't know but I'd say your Oxy Acetylene will cost a bit.

Some local wankers put a 308 in one of these, still with the stock diff
ratio!. What a big bucket of shite.
This was a bad swap, but it can be done.

Plenty of easily fittable strong 4's to be had. That would be just fine.
or a 300ZX motor.....

Some hard case guys here placed 5th in a major rally here with a
180BSSS, really pissed off the mega buck late model guys.

A 180B is a poor excuse for a car, manufactured by Datsun in the 70's.
Most of them are now rusty, unroadworthy eye-sores.

Well, you sure have a lot of things to consider..

What type of V8 are we talking about here ??

I have a V8 in my 81 celica (which I am selling for
$5500 with 12 mths rego !!) ... the conversion cost
almost $2000 (without the 3.5L Alloy Rover V8)

Mods included crossmember, steering rack/ bellhousing
to a 5 speed supra box amongst other small things ...

I'd reckon you rae better off with a rotary or turbo charged
the 1.8L motor .. you may be well surprised !!

C Ya ... and why the hell is evey one being so damn
sarcastic anyways ???

I tell you it could be done. Just get one of those leyland alloy V8.
Don't use a tail shaft just use a transaxle. Is potentially the most
powerful car ever (power to weight)

I've seen a pintara station wagon with a 308 in it. It was even legally
registered.
