1) Condition of their drivetrain (kinda important) knowing most R32 were
made between '89-'93 (or was that '94?) and R33 were made between
'94-'98 and there was some minor update resulting a few more Nm's
increase in torque. Better clutch (for a more violent launch) could also
mean a different in time.
2) Weight - R33 being a bigger car, it's heavier than the R32.
3) Tyres - shit ones go into puddle of rubber while better ones stick to
the tarmac and gets off the line clean.
*yawns*
Just woke up and saw this post....lol :)

Isn't the r33 in the high 1400's or low 1500's?
our r32 is 1390 if the rego papers have it correct.

but.....
the R32 is almost 80kgs lighter (one adult in the car)...
so.. as they both use the SR20DET i would think its easier to add
power to the R32 than make the R33 loose weight...
so if you wanted to do some mods..the R32 could be quicker....
logically speaking..
If you are going to speak of things you know nothing about, at least try to
get your facts right.
The sr20det is a 2litre 4 cylinder - how well do you think a 1500kg R33
would go with that powerplant???
R32 has RB20DET, R33 has RB25DET
RB = inline 6

Dont worry about Vroom, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. You know
the type, a few stubbies short of a six pack etc etc
because... "<insert gavin's creativity here>"

and with a pair of 12" subs in the boot i think the 80kg's can be made up
easily.
You add an extra 80kg's for another 27kw... so i would think the R33 is
faster.
How ever, when it comes to GTR's, you have the same RB26DETT driving a
lighter car in the R32, so that is faster.
