VT Interior Fan Won't Work On High

Any idea why the heater/air conditioner fan on my VT Commodore has
suddenly stopped working on high?
It works normally on 1,2 and 3 but just switches off when turned to the
high position. I just had the car serviced (70,000km) and it was working
before this!

A call to Holden Service reckon it is probably the switch or something
behind the dash which means a full days labour to remove the whole dash
to get to it. Needless to say I don't want to pay for that!

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks :-)

if it was working till you got it serviced, and wasn't straight after, just
accuse them of stuffing it up and they'll do it for free

The same thing happened to my brother's VT. It ended up being the blower
relay in the fuse box being faulty. It had nothign to do with the switch
behind the dash. Try and swap the blower relay with another relay there like
the demister or something and see if it works. The relays are all the same I
think.

Thanks allot there Giovanni, swapped the rear window demister relay with
one of the blower ones and it started working! Now just need to get a
new relay :-)

Cheers,
