PLEASE THINK ROOOLY HARD
Worth a try.
Do you mean when you are in low range 1 or 2 ? or is this just anytime.

The problem occurs only in low range and is related to the amount of torque
available. Hence the 3.0ltr being worse. Not much you can do about it. Tell
your mate to stick a bit of car carpet onto the kickpanel next to the
pedal,When he's in low 1 or 2 push his foot up against the carpet to stop
the bounce effect. He could also try a high density foam block under the
pedal as well.
These are all extremely poxy solutions to the problem, which is the fly by
wire throttle system being way to sensitive. Nissan deny that it even
exists. Had many a conversation with them about getting a resolution. In the
end I was told that it was a design characteristic of the vehicle and as
such would never even be addressed. Maybe an aftermarket ECM supplier can
help, I dunno.

I've see the same type of thing on coil spring vehcles, only it's the
control/trailing arm bushes at the axle being worn or too soft(rubber)
try changing the trailing arm bushes to a harder compound, will improve
the take off by lessening the hopping
