Hello all;
Sustained some cuts and a tear on my Gore-Tex overpants made
by J&N. The material is very thin and seems to be two
layered.
Has anybody ever tried to repair this material successfully
or has an idea how it could be done.

Try you local bushwalking shop for some Goretex repair tape. It is
essentially the same as the seam seal tape.
Failing that, buy some Coghlans repair fabric there. Nylon cloth with strong
adhesive layer.
