Last time I was there (which is probably about 5 years ago), there was a
faint track leading almost all the way there, generally down the spur.
It starts at the bottom of the old ski run on Mount Franklin.

It is faint, and you lose it on the way down, but on the way back you
keep thinking "how could I have possibly lost this".

I have also been there a couple of times from below, starting at Corin
dam carpark. Now that is ROUGH and not suggested except for masochists.
I only went back a second time because I thought it could not be as bad
as I remembered it. It was!

Gidday Ben,
Have done the walk twice, both times from the top of Mt Franklin
down the old ski run. The first time we lost the track about half
way down and went of to the right of the track down to the creek and
followed it down to the falls, it was a bit tough, a lot of tea
tree.
The second time we went left the track it was ok and the bush wasn't
as thick but a lot of timber down, though it was quite nice walking.
Both times when walking back up we like Allan we wondered how the
hell we could loose the track.

I am about to do the walk a third time and I think that I will try
to stick to the ridge all the way down.

Cheers Tony
