At the moment I'm looking at http://www.routiki.com/ and it has
advantages in that it allows paths to be "drawn in" rather that uploaded
from as GPS device but it also has some minor limitations. The search
index is not user friendly when searching for an existing route and when
printing out it doesn't capture all the layers on the screen. e.g. when
it prints it will pick up the drawn map, and the street map, but not the
terrain from the Google Earth photo underneath.
(The site appears to be a work in progress as it's been in Beta since 2005)
Any suggestions of other sites help would be appreciated

Hi Cam
I would be that guy called "Matt" (Thanks Anthony for the kind words)
I am glad that wildwalks is what you where looking for. But from your
initial request you seemed to want to be able to 'draw your own walk'
if this is something that you still need let me know. No promise at
all, but is has come up a few times in brainstorming sessions, it
sounds like a cool idea, but I am yet to come up with a model that
will make it helpful or usefull. Not something that is super easy but
is possible, prob not high on my adgenda, but would be interested in
seeing it work if it wold be helpful.
Or are you just want a lot of walks and there maps?? If so there are
more walks coming. we are just starting to plan our walking session
for the second half of this year. We are hoping to get more overnight
walks and some day walks outside the Sydney area (still in NSW).
If you sign up at www.wildwalks.com I will send you a copy of my
'regular newsletter' the first I hope to send out in a month or
so :) But when I do I will be asking for feedback thoughts and ideas
on priorities, I would value your input.
thanks
Matt :)
