HI all,

I'm looking to put together a more transportable road bike. I want to
use something like the Ritchey Break Away or Surly Travelers Check
frames that can be dismantled to two pieces (the two triangles),
allowing a complete bike to be packed in a relatively small case.
There are other similar frames from Dahon, and several that use the S&S
coupling.

My question is does anyone know a bike shop in Australia that has any of
these in stock?

Yes I know about Chain Reaction etc. but I am specifically looking for
something in Australia.

TIA.

I thought one of the recumbent manufacturers stocked them. I have them
on my Thorn (UK). I must admit I do not use them as also have to remove
the frame, cranks, mudguards etc to get it into the box I have. Where
are you based Patrick?

Flying furniture has Airnimal folding bikes but they aren't all
that "normal" even though they have big wheels.

I should also mention that if you get it done also have cable separators
fitted. I think they are made by Moulton.

What city? Cheeky Transport in Sydney and Epic Cycles in Brisbane
spring to mind.
