Hi Paul, did that 737 ever get into Jandakot?
Care to share the photos, I'd be interested to see them?
Not sure which of the dates Paul quoted apply, but I believe it was the
first visit?

I trust the blob behind #4 is a photographic blemish and not a bit
fallen off?

No Rob, these were scanned from the original prints. No dates anywhere.
If anyone thinks it's worth persuing, I could scan several pics from
negatives from the same roll of the Perth city area taken while waiting
for Concord. Just possibly some knowledgeable Perthite could make a
guess of the date from the state of city building construction, which
was pretty vigourous during the subject era.

Ok
They also printed the date on the back of prints - it was only a idea
which may have given some clue to the date.

Thanks for the pics, I sure would like to see so me more and do some
research regarding the date.
There is a download on this page that may get you started.

First flight into Perth was 985 in which case the flight would have been
from Bahrain on the 13-14th February 1985 and taking off again from Bahrain
to Perth on the 15th. Last flight that landed and departed Perth was 1989
and that was a 40min refueling stop only.
I'll see if I can find more info. There appears to be either a bushfire or
burn-off in the hills in one shot, but burning off isn't done during
February. Feb 1985 particularly around the dates of the Concorde visit was a
period of very hot temperatures.
Ring a bell?
