Need a reasonable price on replacing my VW10HT with panasonic PTAE4000

It's been a while since I have frequented. I am interested in getting
a decent price for this projector. I am inner city Melbourne. Don't
mind purchasing on line if that's what it takes. I prefer supporting
the local guys if it is not considerably more expensive. Any tips?
I have been looking at prices for this projector in Aus compared to
the prices offered in our near parity $ not so distant neighbours
since globalisation. It appears some sort of price gouging is going on
in Aus. Not sure why we get screwed. I hear people say "shipping
costs" blah blah... "smaller market" blah blah. It's all just market
spin. I noticed Gerry Harvey (I am not going to get into arguments
regarding his policies) but he came out frustrated about the pricing
of windows in China and believes that he is going to have to bypass
supporting local MS because they are playing these games as well.
Strangely they cant really argue the distribution cost clap trap.
