I have a video projector in my home theatre that points at a plain
(unpainted) white wall. I find that the contrast is often poor and that
backs turn slightly green.

I don't want to spend big bucks, but I would be interested in any
suggestions for improvement. I have been thinking that there is probably
some type of paint that might be suitable for such a wall.

Has anyone any suggestions?

All this has been discussed to death in www.avsforum.com , IMHO the
best resource of the net for home projection discussions.

But, to actually answer your question, instead of doing some painting, get
yourself some curtain blockout material and hang that on the wall (or better
stretched over a wooden frame). I built a 3m diagonal screen for under
$100 total that works well with my DLP projector.

Cheers,
Peter

Yes, it's true that AVS Forum and TheBigPictureDVD forums have some great
info, but they are primarily American. Hence, they don't mention any Dulux,
Sorbent or other paints readily available in OZ. I am still trying to
search through the archives to see an equivalent paint.
