I managed to hack into my TVs service menu and have fixed the overscan and
some of the slight curving via trial and error.

But I have no idea what some of the settings do...

The ones that don't seem to make any difference, but must do something are:
(The TV is an LG 68cm)

FP
NP
SP
SV

MAXVOL (seems self-explanitary)

The other settings I can get some idea of, and have used them to some
effect, but I would still like to know how to adjust the picture properly.
Is there any web-page or reference where I can find out the proper usage of
these settings:

AGC (seems to tune the picture out slightly)
RG - red
GG - green
BG - blue

Y-Delay?? something to do with brightness?

CDL - brightness again??

VL, VA, SC, VS, HS, EW, EP, EC, ET - thesechange the shape and size of the
image, but I still can't get all of the settings perfect. I have uneven
edges at the top and bottom of WS images (ie DVDs)

any help, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
