I've added 2 new linux distributions to mirror.

Armed Linux - has been promoted quite a lot and been
slashdotted.

latest beta is available from:

ftp://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/linux/armed/

Slackware have released their latest beta release,
6.5.0 BETA which you can get from

ftp://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/linux/slackware-current/

this does not have the source files though.

Isn't that illegal under the GNU?

If the source is generally available, no. The source doesn't necessarily
have to be distributed with the CD, but it MUST be available.

BTW, I am given to understand that Armed Linux is just a glorified ripoff
of ZipSlack.

not really. there's at least 10 copies of the sources on mirror
including in previous slackware distributions and other distributions.

in any case, i've asked patrick volkers about this and he didn't
have any problems with it.

so i guess if you asked for it, i'd make it available. and
point you at: ftp.cdrom.com

shrug - a few people asked for it, so there it is. if it isn't
taken up, it'll get deleted in a few weeks :-)
