and machine learning solutions to provide the most accurate
insights possible to identify how to reduce fuel and energy lose.
The main goal of the company is to increase operational efficiency
by reducing marine fuel consumption and making vessels more

***** Job description:
As a Vessel Software Support Manager you will be mainly involved in
working with our onboard vessel systems, which are custom-built
data gathering, processing, and machine learning solutions that
tie both into vessel hardware/software and into our onshore
services. This work involves:
* Linux administration,
* talking to crews and customers
* working with vessel engineers (for hardware-related failures)
* managing daily priorities
* coordinating with our software developers and business teams.
***** Requirements:
* proactivity
* ability to manage your own work
* willingness to improve knowledge about the system
* positive and collaborative attitude
* very good communication skills in English
* basic knowledge about industrial-grade automation protocols (like
MODBUS) is very welcome
***** Good to have:
* Basic knowledge of Python
***** We offer:
* a chance to work on projects that will help our clients to reduce
waste and pollution in the shipping industry
* remote service during COVID pandemia, or the access to the
