Why on earth did you suppose that anywhere OTHER than Melbourne, Sydney,
Canberra and Brisbane would be serviced by this?

I don't. Telstra isn't exactly full of clues when it comes to
project management.

In short - you want cable modems? Go with someone other than Telstra.
You'll need to lobotomise yourself with Windows to get access to
Big Pond via Telstra.
