Are the original wheels/tires worth anything? Tires are in great shape, but obviously not to safe to drive on. Couldn't find any tires for those wheels!
Car came with other set of wheels on it and only 20 year old tires, instead of 44. Those I found new tires for.

The Michelin TRX tires are still available from through a couple dealers in the the US like Coker Tire. I’m sure there is desire for the wheels, what style are they?

I also have an original  set of of wheels and tires for #78 here in Atlanta if anybody wants to pick them up . I don't have the heart to throw them out . How the tire are mounted is also different as well as being Metric . The mounting idea that didn't quite catch on but used in 80's on a few cars including I believe the mustang at one point.

I don't think the TRX tires aren't being made any longer and the ones Coker have are probably10-20 yrs old and also wouldn't be safe overall. wheel.jpg

Coker does still make them "using the original molds" and they're currently listed at $399 each.
Due to low volume it's possible some of the new tires have accumulated some "shelf life".
My car has wires and that combination was problematic so I changed out to standard size.
Admittedly I did/do like the tread pattern.

I just bought a new set last summer and they took about 8 weeks to get but they were brand spanking new!

I stand corrected. The first time I called Coker, within the month, they said they were NOS 10-20 yrs old, when I was Looking for tires. Oh well.
