Hello All,

We are rapidly approaching the Aurora Green Fest (scheduled for this Saturday, June 11th)! If you are receiving this email, you (and/or your organization/students) are involved in the art exhibits to be displayed at the fest this weekend. We are REALLY excited about this event and the entries that will be shown alongside the outdoor and indoor exhibits and entertainment. It will be a fun day for all!

Below is listed specific details regarding drop-off, setup, and pick-up. Please, please, please email me if you have any questions, or would like additional information. We have several people scheduled the day of that would be available to help in several areas (setup, moving pieces, display) if needed.

FOR 2-DIMENSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT:
I have around 19-20 hanging systems available for the pieces. If you could let me know how many to bring for the event, that would be great. I also have hooks and slats designed for hanging framed pictures with wire too; I'll bring my box containing all, but if you have an idea of how many or which type you prefer, I can make sure I have enough with me. Would there be any way of arriving around 7:30am on Saturday to hang the items? I can help with setup and hanging the pieces; I just know the hallway will become a bit >busy< when exhibitors begin bringing their table supplies, and thought if we could get a headstart early with hanging, it would make it easier on us.

Also, do you have an informational poster or sign? If so, what is the size? I would like to help display it, either on an easel or wall clip, and knowing the size and how it should be displayed would also help.

FOR STUDENT ART WORK FROM SCHOOLS/CLASSES:
Judging from the sheets we received, there is a mix of 2D and 3D pieces. Our plan was to display the 3D works on tables and the 2D pieces on foam boards behind the tables. Are the 2D pieces (magazine pieces) already "matted", and, if so, are they just matted on cardboard or colored paper? Or, do you have them already free standing for display? I also have 2-3 free-standing carpeted display units that are about 4 ft. wide and 4 ft. tall, if needed.

Ideally, if the pieces could be dropped off between 7:30 and 8:00am on Saturday morning at the Prisco Convention Center, that would be great. If teachers are unable to drop off their artwork at the Prisco Center, you may drop off your pieces between 2-8pm Monday through Friday at Fox River Academy of Music and Art (4785 State Route 71, Oswego 60543 630-551-4321) and we will bring the artwork over to the Fest on Saturday for you. So we can label the pieces properly, please include the student's name on the bottom or back of each artwork.

FOR 3-DIMENSIONAL COLLABORATIVE/ARTIST WORKS:
Drop-off for pieces should be between 7:30and 8:00am on Saturday morning at the Prisco Convention Center in Aurora. We will be displaying the pieces on tables scattered throughout the Green Fest; if your work is not able to "free-stand" on its own, please let us know and we will try to find a way to help display it.

PICK-UP FOR ALL ITEMS:
The Fest concludes at 3:00pm; we ask that artists pick up their works between 3:00 and 4:00pm at the Prisco Convention Center. Any pieces not picked up will be taken by our staff and we will contact you directly sometime the following week to arrange for pickup.

ALL ARTWORK PARTICIPANTS:
Please reply to this email to confirm receipt of this information. Again, feel free to contact me if you have any questions, need to arrange an alternative drop-off/pick up time, etc.
