Aura.Di - inject values into container itself?

How would I inject a value from outside the Aura.Di container into the configuration of that container?
That is, because Aura.Di is not my main() obviously, so there is code which runs before the container is configured and created. For example, logging which needs to start immediately as soon as the PHP application starts, but before the DI is configured. I need to pass the logging parameter into the DI container, so that the DI container can then provide it to all of the other class instances it will be creating later during execution. How do I do that?
