State of Infrastructure:
The infrastructure – comprising of pumps, pipelines, gas pipelines, painting, buildings – has started to show its age. It will become incumbent that increasing expenditures are incurred for repairs and maintenance. Where it is felt that an item has become beyond economic recovery to maintain, the BOM is taking a call to replace that item, in a phased manner. All this is sought to be accomplished without increasing the costs of maintenance and as far as is possible, not to touch any of the contingency funds.
Was there NO pre-HoTo technical audit done prior to the execution of the HoTo Agreement of April 2016?
- To assess the balance service repairs and cost of immediate repairs/upgradation
- I find to my dismay that the same is NOT at all reflected in the negotiated amount of Rs. 9.00 crores
How much is the amount that is received as contingency funds from EIPL?
And how much is the actual amount of the contingency funds?
