Position: The HR Oracle Expert
Location: Maryland
Duration: 1 Year
Rate: Open
The CLEARED Staff shall provide expert assistance in the use of Oracle Projects to manage research in the institute. The staff shall have at least 5 years of cumulative past experience using Oracle Projects, including functions related to project management, project resources, project costing, and project billing. A strong functional background in Project Management is desirable. Past experience in using Oracle Projects in a government research environment is preferred.
SCOPE OF WORK:
· Evaluate BPP requirements and recommend to the Chief, BPP, how the system can be best used to address them.
· Define and document requirements and processes related to the use of Oracle Projects.
· Adjust settings in the system, as required to meet BPP objectives.
· Create and run reports, using Discoverer or other tools, as needed to support BPP objectives.
· Train BPP staff in the use of Oracle Projects.
· Coordinate with the contractor IT sustainment team and the USAMRIID Information Technology Office, as required, to meet BPP and Institute objectives.
· Assist with preparing Standing Operating Procedures.
· This position will be up to a year and reevaluated for longer, if required.
