The AU-KBC ( Anna University – K B Chandrasekhar ) Research Centre in
the MIT (Madras Institute of Technology) Campus of Anna University,
Chennai, has its core vision of becoming a multidisciplinary
research institution of global standing pursuing the twin goals of
- Extending the frontiers of Scientific Knowledge through high
quality research
- Generating Technologies and Products of economic and social
value
The Research Centre was set up in 1999 as a collaborative effort
between Anna University and one of its alumni Mr. K. B. Chandrasekhar,
a global entrepreneur and investor based in the USA. Done as a part of
the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the M I T Campus, the Centre was
borne through a Memorandum Of Understanding between the Anna
University Chennai and the K B C Research Foundation Pvt. Ltd.,
Chennai.
The focus of the wireless communications group has been on the 802.11
(WiFi) and 802.16 (WiMAX) based systems. Work on the Physical (PHY)
and Medium Access Control (MAC) Layers has been ongoing for the past 6
years.

RGM TTC is a premiere training institute of BSNL and forms part of
Tamil Nadu Telecom circle. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified Institution
and train Engineers recruited for DOT/ BSNL since 1960s. The faculty
are highly experienced in Telecom field, Qualified and dedicated

Second week (5 days) of the course at
* AU-KBC, Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) Campus Chromepet.
* Well connected by Road and Railways.
* Nearby Chromepet Railway Station.
Who are Eligible
* Students studying in III Year / Final Year B.E / B.Tech with
specialisation in ECE / EEE / CS / IT having a minimum percentage of
60% marks.
* Fresh graduates by one year in the same discipline.
* Students doing Post Graduation.
Subject knowledge in Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communication
& Basic Networking is preferrable for effective learning.
Course Details
Duration : Two weeks (10 days)
Minimum Batch Strength - 15
If the number of students registered is less than 15, then the
students will be adjusted in other batches.
Maximum Batch Strength - 40
Program Fees
* General Tariff : Rs.7,500.
* Early bird Tariff : Rs.7,000. If the DD is taken on or before
the early bird date.
* Group offer : If 5 or more candidates want to attend the
program, they need to give one single DD at the rate of Rs.6,750 per
candidate.
* If you avail group offer, early bird offer is not applicable and
vice versa.
Mode of payment
Payment will be accepted only thro Demand Draft. Cheques and Cash will
not be accepted DD to be drawn in favour of “Senior A.O. (Cash), O/o

brought.
* Student ID Card
* Online Registration ID
* Attested Xerox copy of marksheet of last declared results
Terms & conditions
* Leave is not permitted on any day.
* Test will be conducted at the end of each week on the topics
covered in that week. Candidates should score a minimum of 50% to be
eligible for a Certificate.
* The fees once paid will not be returned in the event of not
attending the training due to personal reasons.
