No Training on Monday 6th October , It is a Public Holiday!
Just a quick reminder that Monday is a public holiday so there will be no training…

Congratulations to our two players who fought brilliantly at the Games!
Ricky Gold a gold medal in the under 81Kg Division and won Green and Gold selection, and Pedro won eight out of nine fights in his under 73 Kg division to win Bronze… Well done!

SAIO 11th October, Volunteers needed on Friday 10th and 11th!
Thanks to everyone who has offered to help at the SAIO to move mats before and after and to help make the event a success. Talk to Meera if you are interested or need to find out what you are doing!
Master Class, October 12th … Nominations through SAIO on Line!
We have quite a few people already going to this one. Come to Theby and put your name down on the list and then register on line Gavin Kelly will show you a whole host of things that you can try! Simply go to the Judo SA web site and register! Alternately come along to training and put your name down on the notice board… The fee is $40 but if you are short of cash now, the club will pay for you and you can repay later or in stages…
Club Grading is on 18th October, Ground work covered!
We are going through all the stages of ground work now at every session and will ensure that you have covered all the standing moves too in the next two weeks, the Tech team is spending over an hour at each session polishing up all their stuff! So come along and start polishing all your moves…
