Timothy and all,
Thanks for your kind words and for inviting me to speak at the Augusta
Linux User Group! You've got a great group and I enjoyed meeting you
all. Linux has always been a passion of mine and I hope to attend
more meetings in the future.
I'm actually not from Columbia (the city), I'm from Columbia (the
county) right here in Augusta! Another group I'm involved in here in
Augusta is the local chapter of an Information Security group called
ISSA. If you're interested in learning more about security, be sure
to check out the Greater Augusta ISSA:

We're currently planning a meeting for next month featuring Dr.
Johannes Ullrich of the SANS Internet Storm Center who will be talking
about IPv6 and how to secure it. What's that you say...you're not
running IPv6? Modern operating systems run IPv6 by default and many
will automagically tunnel IPv6 over IPv4, so many folks are running
IPv6 without even realizing it.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the Greater Augusta
ISSA or Security Onion!
Thanks,
