Hi fellow birders,Thought you might be interested in this event which I just posted on eBird for 1/29.

On 1/28, at 3:40 pm, a Red-tailed hawk glided in from the North and soared slowly above our neighborhood, ultimately heading South toward the coast. No crows were in evidence at the time.
On 1/29, at 3:40 pm, a Red-tailed hawk flew in from the same direction and was mobbed by about 25 crows fairly high in the air above our neighborhood while over 300 crows watched and made a constant racket from the canopy of trees below. The hawk was more surrounded in flight than I have ever seen. It eventually escaped and glided back to the north.
I don't expect to see it at 3:40 today but will write in if I do ;)
