Stephen Weston Memorial Service -- A memorial service will be held on June 4th for Stephen Wright Weston, a longtime conservator of 18th and 19th century houses and furniture. Weston, who had opened his antique restoration business in 1970, unexpectedly suffered a fatal heart attack on February 4, 2022 at his Winthrop, Maine home.
Weston had also been an avid birder since the age of ten and participated annually in the Christmas count.
The Saturday, June 4th service will be held at the 19th century East Winthrop Baptist Church just off Route 202, on the Old Village Road and not far from Weston’s shop.
Those who wish may contribute, in his memory, to the Stephen Wright Weston Memorial Fund — established to philanthropically support a project, or projects, in keeping with his legacy. Contributions should be sent to the Stephen Wright Weston Memorial Fund, TD Bank, 101 Western Ave., Augusta, Maine 04330.
