Newbie Intro (meetup?)

Hi All,

I'm new to Carroll Gardens (from Providence, RI) and would love to meet up with some moms of similarly aged kids!  In Providence, I was part of a very active moms group, and I'm really missing having regular outings with friends.  

A little about me:  I love brunch and boxed wine, at work I create training programs for financial advisors, and I spend way too much time on the internet.  A little bit about O:  He loves the swings and the sandbox, he's known as "the mayor" at daycare, and his favorite book is Little Gorilla.

I'm not sure if this group still meets up, if anyone is open to it, maybe we could do coffee and bagels at Carroll Park one weekend morning while the kids play?  I'm not sure how many of you also work during the week, but I've found this has made it difficult to meet up with the Meet Up groups I've found.

Hi Johnna,

Our group hasn't met up in a while and I think for anyone who is still checking in to see if there is any action, it would be fun to meet up. I am actually not in the neighborhood anymore (just a bit further now in Clinton Hill), but would love to come back to the neighborhood and get the kids together. 

Summer is tough with everyone's schedules, but I will just toss out a date and see if people are open to bagels in the park:

Hello all,

August is a hellish month for me in terms of work and I have to spend most Saturdays and Sundays chained to my desk.  Sadly, that kept me from joining you today.  I would love to join the next time - a standing date sounds awesome.  

I have been known to bake banana muffins in order to keep bananas from going bad (why do we always end up with too many at once or none at all?!) - I could certainly bring those to the next gathering.
