Hello all,

I would really like to try some new tricks to try to help our little guy sleep more at night - he is still waking 3 times regularly (more if something is bothering him).

I am looking for something other than a cry-it-out method. I know it works really well for some people and I am supportive of any technique that works for you.  We share a room so cry-it-out isn't practical for us and I also don't think it is the best fit for all the personalities involved.
I am looking for something that supports breastfeeding, allows for co-sleeping, but will help a kiddo drop some of these awful night-wakings.

Does anyone have any recommendations?  What is the deal with the "happiest baby on the block" sleep book?

Thanks in advance.
Barrie

Hi Barrie,

I love Happiest Baby on the Block. We used as many of the techniques of the 5 S's as possible. I would definitely try that out. (Side note: We checked out Happiest Toddler, but I don't think it's as spot on.)

We also used some techniques from Twelve Hours' Sleep by Twelve Weeks Old - obviously that is for when they are a bit younger. I didn't love all the techniques and found the tone of the book annoying.

Good luck!
