Ankara Üniversitesi Hesaplamalı Yoğun Madde Fiziği Grubunda (http://hymf.ankara.edu.tr/) çalışmak üzere doktora sonrası araştırmacı alınacaktır. Doktora sonrası araştırmacı, Nisan 2023'te başlayan ve iki yıl süreyle devam edecek Tübitak (1001) Projesi kapsamında desteklenecektir. Proje konusu ağır iki-boyutlu yapıların fiziğinin araştırılması üzerinedir.

Adaylardan yoğunluk fonksiyoneli teorisine dayanan VASP ya da Quantum Espresso kodlarında deneyimli olması ve programlama dillerinden (C++ ya da Python) birine hakim olması beklenmektedir. Ayrıca magnetik malzemeler ve diğer düşük boyutlu sistemler konusunda deneyimli olması tercih sebebidir.

A postdoc position is available in the Computational Condensed Matter Physics Group (http://hymf.ankara.edu.tr/) at Ankara University. The postdoc researcher will be supported under the Tübitak (1001) Project, which started in April 2023 for two years. The project is focused on the investigation of the physics of heavy elements two-dimensional structures.

A candidate is expected to be experienced in the quantum materials science packages (e.g. VASP or Quantum Espresso) based on the density functional theory and has full knowledge of one of the programming languages (C++ or Python). In addition, it is preferable to have experience on magnetic materials and other low dimensional systems.
