Looking for BI (Congo’s) Architect/Developer with minimum experience of 2-5 years.
Position Description: Will be joining a team in the development and management of a new business intelligence platform that leverages middleware data to provide new insights into our business and customers. You will be part of a fast-paced Agile team that is working with tools such as Splunk, Cognos, and SCALA to provide views to both business executives and middleware interface development teams of Web Services, APIs, and Messages. The effort is a critical step in maturing our enterprise middleware environment and will require you to be innovative, collaborative, and diligent.
Responsibilities will include:
· Designing, prototyping, and delivering data streams from multiple middleware technologies to a cross platform business intelligence system.
· Developing interactive reports, dashboards, and predictive views.
· Development of supporting tools for extracting key operational metrics from middleware appliances.
· Creating and maintaining the data definition language (DDL).
· Performing administration and maintenance on project schemas.
· Troubleshooting environment issues and working with Product support teams to resolve problems and perform root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
· Preferred experience with Splunk, Cognos, SCALA, and Java
· Proven written and oral communication skills
· Collaborative work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented culture
· Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and execute against deliverables under deadlines and competing priorities
· Highly focused, organized, and detail-oriented
· Passionate about creating great technology products and is always looking for creative & innovative solutions to meet or exceed our business partners’ needs
· Strong technical aptitude with an intense desire to learn new skills and industry trends
· 2-5 years of BI software development experience and preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or other technical discipline
· Demonstrated experience in agile development, application design, software development, and testing
