Amy's resignation

[Jackie Augustine]

Hello AOK,

I am sorry to announce that Amy has submitted her resignation. She has accepted the position of Outreach and Education Coordinator with the Sandhills Task Force, a non-profit that works to enhance grassland ecosystems while sustaining ranching in the Nebraska Sandhills. 

Her last day is July 3. (Actually, July 2 because July 3 is a holiday.)

Join me in wishing her success in her new position.

Oh no.  I mean, yea for Amy.  It was such a pleasure to meet her when we stayed at Hutton House.  She has a wealth of information, I’m sorry to see her go.

Amy, very excited for this new opportunity for you. You’ve shown your abilities in Outreach and Education in your programming for our open houses at Hutton and the engagement with the community there in Basset. 

Thanks for all your work, best wishes in your new position, and hopefully our paths cross again soon!

Amy was the perfect AOK hostess when a group of us from Burroughs Audubon Society of Greater Kansas City earlier this year stayed at Hutton House to visit the property and to see Sharp-tailed Grouse.  Amy welcomed us with open arms, showed us around the beautiful Hutton House and property, and expertly assembled our blind for viewing grouse.  We visited Hutton in the middle of a snowstorm, and Amy graciously shoveled the road so we could have ready access to the property.  It was a memorable experience, and I will always remember Amy, her kindness, and her hard work.  Her boots will be difficult to fill.  

All the Best to you, Amy, in this next chapter of your life.  Please don’t be a stranger and continue to stay in touch!
